The Instituto de Cooperação Jurídica Internacional (ICJI) – Institute for International Legal Cooperation – based in Lisbon and Brasilia, a non-profit organization founded to promote dialogue between the public and private sectors on transnational legal problems, was founded in 2018. Experts and firms specialized in this field have joined us as associates from the start enabling ICJI to promote a series of activities in Brazil and in Portugal.
We have organized four dialogues between the private and public sector – three in Brazil and one in Portugal – , each with a specific theme. ICJI also held its first specialization course in 2019, in Lisbon, followed by an International Seminar gathering experts from Brazil, Portugal and European countries. In 2020, the second edition of the course and seminar will be held in Lisbon in March (for more information, clicke here).
On May 5, 2020, in São Paulo, the 5th ICJI Public-Private Dialogue will take place addressing the theme: Double Jeopardy and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. More information on the event, available here.
ICJI founders are Antenor Madruga and Manuel Valente.
